Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you contact Lukewarm Volcano or use this website. It is written in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, because you should be able to actually read it.
Last updated 26 July 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
Lukewarm Volcano is the trading name used by David Kelly, based in Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland. David is the data controller for any personal information you share. You can reach him at david@lukewarmvolcano.com or on 083-4704-688.
“Lukewarm Volcano” is a business name registered with the Companies Registration Office, Ireland, under registration number 661934.
What this website collects
This website has no contact form, no account system, no newsletter sign-up and no analytics software. It does not build a profile of you, and it sets no cookies of its own.
The only personal information Lukewarm Volcano holds is what you choose to send directly — your name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about your project when you email or ring.
Why we hold it, and for how long
Enquiry details are used for one purpose: to reply to you, quote for the work, and deliver the project if you go ahead. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for an initial reply, and performance of a contract once you book.
Emails and project files are kept for as long as the working relationship is active, and afterwards for as long as Irish tax law requires where the records relate to invoicing. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted once they are clearly no longer live.
Your details are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
Photography and video of people
Filming produces footage that may include identifiable people. Where a shoot takes place on private premises or involves staff, customers or attendees, permission is agreed with the client before filming, and anyone who asks not to appear is left out of the final edit. If you appear in footage and want it removed, contact David directly.
Third-party services this site uses
Two external services are loaded by this website, and it is worth being straight about what each one means:
YouTube. Videos on this site are hosted on YouTube and embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, which suppresses advertising cookies. Nothing loads from YouTube until you click play — until then, no request is made and no data leaves your browser. Once you press play, Google receives your IP address and player interaction data under its own privacy policy.
Google Fonts. Typefaces are served from Google's font servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google when the page loads. No cookies are set. This is a common setup, but it is a genuine data transfer and you are entitled to know about it.
Cookies
Lukewarm Volcano sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner. If analytics are ever added, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before anything is loaded.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to how it is used, or ask for it to be sent elsewhere. Email david@lukewarmvolcano.com and you will get a response within one month.
If you are unhappy with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
