The brief
Everyone already knows what the Cliffs of Moher look like. What they don’t always know is that booking online skips the queue, that the app and audio guide make the walk mean more, and that there’s good food and a proper gift shop at the end of it. The job was to sell the whole day, not just the view.
The shoot
Shot partly at Alfie's in Ennistymon and partly out at the cliffs, with two local actors carrying the story instead of a straight voiceover. Splitting it between the two locations let the film show the lead-up — the planning, the booking — as well as the payoff of actually being there.
Working with the team
One of the better days of filming, and one of the easiest teams to work with. Melanie and the team at the Cliffs know exactly what they want, which makes it simple to deliver — always a pleasure.
Running a visitor attraction?
Getting people to book ahead and make the most of what's on site is its own kind of video. Tell me about the attraction and I'll tell you what I'd shoot.
